Ash Wednesday was this week, officially kicking off the Lent season. 46 days through which many Christians will reflect upon the current state of their lives and the world in which we live. An opportunity to appreciate life in many ways, most common being the choice to abstain from some of our favorite vices, and (on Friday's at least) giving up meat.
Now the church defines 'meat' as anything warm blooded, which is why most people turn to seafood on Friday. This year will be no different, so keep an eye on out for all the different options we will be advertising between now and Easter!
Including but not limited to, Asian Glazed Salmon, Eggplant Parmesan, Vegetable Quesadilla's, Stuffed Flounder and more!
And of course, your classic options like a good ole fashioned Tuna Fish Sandwich will always be available at A and S Deli & Shore Catering!
